CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Chesterfield County community showed their support during National Police Week by delivering food to officers.

The Chesterfield County Police Department (CCPD) on Facebook thanked St. John’s Episcopal Church for their gift of food, as well as Juan Marquez for bringing them “delicious power rings.”

“Police Week is an often emotional time of reflection and the love that is always shared by the community is a wonderful reminder of why we all put the uniform on,” CCPD said.

“We are blessed to have the support of the residents and business owners of Chesterfield County,” CCPD added.
