Motorcycle ride to support Sickle Cell charities in RVA

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Grab the boots, the riding leather and your helmet and head on out for the Unity Ride for Sickle Cell.   This is the 11th annual event that will let motorcyclists travel from Petersburg to Richmond in support of Sickle Cell charities in Central Virginia.  The partnership includes The Ladies of Elegance, Inc., the SC Bike Committee in conjuction with MCV Foundation. The goal of the Unity Ride is to heighten awareness of Sickle Cell Anemia and raise money to fund programs which will assist your friends and neighbors suffering from this disease.   

The tax deductible registration fee is $25.00 per bike which will be used to provide services for people with Sickle Cell Disease. ALL PROCEEDS will benefit MCV Foundation and Sickle Cell Charities.
