RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Celebrating 35 years of service in the Richmond community, the Richmond Shepherd’s Center (TSCOR) hosted a luncheon Tuesday to honor their volunteers.

Over 100 people attended the event, which was held at the University of Richmond’s Alumni Center. The organization honored Susie Wiltshire and Art Gunlicks with The Distinguished Service Award for their outstanding service to the community.

TSCOR is a non-profit focused on encouraging older adults to remain active and independent. The group also offers a volunteer driving service, which get people to doctors’ appointments or trips to the grocery store.
