Chesterfield elementary students get introduced in Senate during Virginia Capitol visit

Positively Richmond

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Members of the student leadership team at Jacobs Road Elementary School in Chesterfield had an eventful spring break.

Students took a trip to the Virginia State Capitol last week, to learn more about government.

The students were even introduced in the Senate, by Sen. Amanda Chase (R, 11th District).

They also visited the House of Delegates, where they met with Del. Roxann Robinson (R, District 27).
