RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A picture of a Richmond Police officer giving a young boy a pair of socks after he ran out of his burning home with no shoes is going viral. 

Officer De’Dongio Randall responded to a house fire call Tuesday night. When Officer Randall arrived on the scene, he noticed a little boy run out of the house without socks or shoes. 

The picture quickly spread on social media, with many praising the officer for going above and beyond.
