VCU Walk-A-Thon to benefit student scholarships

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Tuesday, April 10th, the 14th Annual Marquita Aguilar Walk-A-thon will take place to raise funds that provide scholarships to rising sophomores and juniors at VCU.

Each Spring, the VCU Staff Senate sponsors the Annual Marquita Aguilar Walkathon to raise funds for the Virginia’s Caring University Scholarship, an undergraduate scholarship for juniors and seniors in financial need with a grade point average of 2.7 or better.

Everyone is invited, and there will be many family friendly activities. Donations will be accepted, and all money raised will go toward these scholarships.

The Walk-A-thon is at VCU’s Monroe Park Campus, University Student Commons Plaza, 907 Floyd Avenue, Richmond, VA.
