RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Meet our furry friend of the week — Binks.

Binks is 3-months-old, and while he’s still very small for his age, he has come a long way since his arrival at the Richmond SPCA.

He is currently in foster care with two adoption counselors who have cared for him in their home since he was so small and couldn’t eat on his own.

Binks has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which affects his balance and coordination. He needs help to do many things that able-bodied cats do with ease.

Although he has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, Tabitha Treloar with the Richmond SPCA says Binks is not in any pain or suffering and can have a very long and happy life.

Binks is incredibly affectionate and loves being held. His foster home also has another cat and three dogs. They created a walker for him that he’s learning to use.

Treloar says Binks has so much love to give. Let’s help find this sweet kitty a permanent home.
