Benedictine’s Clelin Ferrell picked fourth overall in 2019 NFL Draft

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond native and Benedictine College Prep graduate Clelin Ferrell was selected fourth overall by the Oakland Raiders in tonight’s NFL Draft.

Ferrell entered the draft after completing his junior season and winning a national championship at Clemson.

Ferrell was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year for the 2018 season. He was also part of the 2016 national championship team for the Tigers.
