Police arrest 2 in Petersburg after meth lab discovery

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — Two men are in custody following charges linked to a possible meth lab. 

Petersburg Police and Virginia State Police responded to the 2100 block of County Drive around 8:30 p.m. Saturday in reference to reports of occupants inside a trailer making methamphetamine.

Donnie Dunn, 51, and Rodney Carter, 46, both of Petersburg, were taken into custody and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance.

Both are being held at Riverside Regional Jail. Virginia State Police and the Petersburg Fire Department cleared the trailer of hazardous chemicals and drugs.
