Police: Teen in stable condition after shooting in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A teen is in stable condition after being shot multiple times in Chesterfield Thursday night, police told 8News. 

Lt. Proffitt, a spokesperson for Chesterfield Police, said the incident occurred in the 4000 block of Mallard Creek Circle around 8:20 p.m.

When police arrived, they found an 18-year-old male victim with multiple gunshots wounds. The shooting victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. According to Chesterfield Police, the victim was treated and is currently in stable condition. 

Police say an investigation is ongoing and there is no suspect description at this time.
