CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A Chesterfield County man is facing a handful of charges after he allegedly forced two females into a bathroom and sexually assaulted one of them.
According to police, 45-year-old Shawn Morris forced his way into a residence belonging to people who are known to him on June 14 and forced two girls into a bathroom. One of the females escaped. The other, a 17-year-old female, was sexually assaulted by Morris.
Police responded and say Morris was uncooperative as officers attempted to take him into custody.
He has been charged with two counts of abduction, two counts of assault and battery, burglary, felonious assault, object sexual penetration, strangulation and obstructing justice. One of the assault and battery charges stems from a separate incident that occurred on April 20, according to police.
