HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities have arrested two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery of a gas station in Henrico County last week. 

Police said Friday that Darrell Pittman, 20, of Newport News, and 18-year-old Chaikim Reynolds, of Hampton, have been taken into custody.

Pittman has been charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of a firearm during a felony. Reynolds has been charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Officers responded to the incident last Thursday at around 6:30 p.m. at a gas station in the 6700 block of Staples Mill Road.

According to Henrico Police, Reynolds entered the gas station and began demanding money from the store clerk. Pittman then walked into the store with a gun shortly after the first suspect entered. 

 The two suspects were seen running from the scene towards Staples Mill Road and in the direction of Hilliard Road.
