2 suspects arrested, victim identified in North 29th street homicide


Two people have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with a homicide that occurred on Sunday.

At approximately 7:37 p.m., Richmond Police were called to the 1100 block of North 29th street after reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the area, they discovered Damon L. Tucker, 48, of Henrico, unresponsive after an apparent gunshot wound.

Tucker was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Richmond detectives, along with the help of the U.S. Marshal’s Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested Michael C. Robinson, 60, on March 27, without incident. 

Detectives arrested a second suspect, Brittany L. Garrett, 27, on March 26. 

Both have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and additional charges are still pending.
