3 wanted for attacking, robbing man in Richmond alleyway


RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Detectives in Richmond need the public’s help to identify the three males who are suspected of robbing someone in an alleyway late Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to the 300 block of East Grace Street for the report of a robbery shortly after 10 p.m. When police arrived, the victim said that three unknown men attacked and robbed him.

The victim stated he was sleeping outside in the 300 block of East Franklin Street when three male suspects woke him up and told him he couldn’t sleep at that location.

The victim said the three men told him they’d take him to a safe place to sleep, and after watching enter a nearby alleyway between E. Grace and Franklin streets, they began attacking him and striking him in the head before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of the victim’s money. 

The suspects were last seen on foot heading east in the alleyway and turned north on 5th Street toward Broad Street.
