7-Eleven robbed in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Police are searching for a male suspect in connection with a robbery that happened at a Richmond 7-Eleven early Friday morning.

Richmond police say a man was wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt and black pants when he entered the 7-Eleven, in the 4700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway, around 1 a.m.

The suspect implied he had a firearm but never displayed a weapon, authorities said.

According to police, after stealing items at the 7-Eleven, the male fled on foot.
