Authorities want help solving hit-and-run in Colonial Heights

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (WRIC) — The Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program wants the public’s help to solve a hit-and-run that occurred in May.  

On May 7, 2019, a grey Nissan Maxima backed into a vehicle in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart in Colonial Heights. The suspect’s vehicle damaged the right rear fender of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect immediately parked his vehicle in another parking spot and then later left the area without providing any contact information.

The suspect is described as a 25-35-year-old black male. He was last seen wearing dark blue pants, a white shirt and a ball cap.
