Caroline County warns parents about dating apps

Crime

CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Caroline County Sherrif’s Office want parents to be on high alert about the dangers of some dating apps.

They posted a warning from the Federal Trade Commission on their Facebook page.

They say apps like “Fast Meet,” “Meet 24,” and “Meet4U” allow adults to find and communicate with children.

The apps even collect users location in real time.

The sheriff’s office and the FTC advise removing these apps from all your devices.
