Deputies seek suspect who stole iPhone from Hanover County Marshalls

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Deputies in Hanover County are asking the public for help identifying a suspect who stole an iPhone from Marshalls last month.

The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office said the crime happened on Jan. 22 at the Marshalls store in the 7200 block of Bell Creek Road. 

Surveillance cameras recorded the individual who deputies say concealed an iPhone 8 Plus and left the store without paying for it. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored hat and a light colored jacket.

Anyone with information about this incident, or who can identify the suspect, is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens can also download the “P3 Tips” app for their mobile devices to submit their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
