Driver wanted after Richmond woman killed in hit-and-run

Richmond, Va. (WRIC) — Police in Richmond need the public’s help locating a vehicle wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run that occurred over the weekend. 

Officers were called to the 2200 block of Fairmont Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday and found a woman lying in the street suffering from serious injuries. They determined she had been struck by a blue SUV.

That woman, who police have identified as 43-year-old Yvonne D. Charity, died at the hospital.

Police in Richmond need the public's help locating a vehicle wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run that occurred over the weekend.
