Hanover County investigators looking to identify robbery suspect

HANOVER COUNTY, Va (WRIC) – Police are looking for to identify a robbery suspect. 

Investigators say on Saturday March 30 around 7:15 p.m. a man walked into a business on the 11200 block of Elmont Road and demanded money. 

He ran from the scene once he got the cash. 

Police tell 8News no weapons were used and no one was hurt. 

The suspect is described as an unknown race male, with a slim build, approximately 5’ 1 to 5’ 5” tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and a mask covering his face.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens can also download the “P3 Tips” app for their mobile devices to submit their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
