Hanover deputies search for pair who spent thousands with stolen credit card

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities in Hanover County are looking for two people who are believed to be involved in a credit card fraud that happened at two businesses back in May. 

According to the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, the victim’s wallet was stolen from his car while he was at a park in the metro Richmond area on May 18. Shortly after the theft, the suspects spent more than $6,000 at a business in the 7000 block of Bell Creek Road. 

The suspects then spent another $620 at a separate business, also on Bell Creek Road, according to deputies.
