HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) — A 26-year-old Hopewell man was arrested in connection to a robbery after assaulting employees at a firearms store Wednesday afternoon.

Officers responded to a report of a strong-armed robbery that occurred at Liberty Firearms and Surplus on the 400 block of S. 15th street.

The injured employee was taken to the hospital and treated.

Eagan is facing charges of robbery and assault. He is currently being held at the Riverside Regional Jail.

At the time of this incident, Eagan was wanted by the City of Colonial Heights on theft charges.
