Investigation underway after armed robbery of Richmond tire shop

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Crime Stoppers wants the public’s help in solving an armed robbery that occurred in the City of Richmond weeks ago. 

On April 19, just after 6 p.m., Richmond Police responded to an armed robbery that occurred at Sam’s New and Used Tires on Chamberlayne Pkwy.

The suspects entered the business armed with handguns and demanded money from the workers. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said. 

According to authorities, the first suspect is a black male, 20-28, 6 feet 4 inches tall and 175lbs. The second suspect is a black male, 20-28 years old, 6 feet tall and 185lbs.
