Police looking to ID person of interest in Jackson Ward wallet theft

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Detectives in Richmond are asking for help identifying a person of interest in a recent wallet theft from Jackson Ward. 

The victim told police that between 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 2 and 10 a.m. on Monday, February 4, an unknown person stole her wallet from her bedroom. The victim said she had a party at her home in the 100 block of West Leigh Street on that Saturday, but she did not realize her wallet was missing until Monday.

The person of interest then used the victim’s credit card at the Village Cafe, located on West Grace Street, police said
