Police: Man shot in South Richmond, fighting for his life

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A man is fighting for his life after being struck in a South Richmond shooting on Monday, police sources confirmed to 8News.

At 9 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Coles Street to investigate reports of a shooting and found a victim, described as only an adult male, with a gunshot wound. The victim’s injuries are considered life-threatening, police said. 

Richmond Police are also investigating another shooting that left two people dead and one in the hospital with serious injuries on Monday
