PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — Investigators have requested for the public’s assistance on Thursday to find a driver believed to be connected to a Petersburg shooting earlier in the week.
Officers responded to a local hospital on April 1 at 7:08 p.m. after learning that a shooting victim was taken there in a personally owned vehicle, police said.
The shooting is believed to have occurred near St. Mark Street and Chestnut Street.
Police are requesting that the community help identify the driver of a Honda Accord 4-door sedan that is silver in color. Investigators also are asking for help locating the car. It is unclear if the driver in the Honda is considered a suspect.
