Police need help identifying man who stole from elderly woman


CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WRIC) — Police need help identifying the man who went on a shopping spree after stealing a credit card from an 82-year-old.

The elderly victim was said to be eating a meal at the Panera Bread on Midlothian Turnpike late March.

She soon discovered her wallet was missing. Her credit card was used at the Best Buy off Koger Center Boulevard.

The suspect made a purchase of more than $2,000 said police.

The man then tried to make a purchase at Target and was denied. 

NYPD confirmed to Chesterfield Police that the man is part of a traveling group.
