Richmond Police conducting homicide investigation after woman found shot in her car

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities are looking for the public’s help with solving a homicide that took place in the City of Richmond in August. 

On Aug. 25, 2018, just before 9 p.m., Richmond Police responded to the 4000 block of Hull St, at the intersection of Belt Blvd and Hull Street, for a report of a female shot inside her car.

Richmond officers located a woman, identified as Krissia Henderson-Burrus, unresponsive inside her vehicle.

She subsequently died to her injuries.

Investigators have learned several people that were inside a sedan fired multiple times into her vehicle then fled the scene.

The suspect vehicle may have damage to the windshield and/or the driver’s side. Investigators have received information, but need additional information to make an arrest.
