RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A man was critically injured during a shooting in Gilpen Court on New Year’s Day.
Police said at approximately 4:38 a.m., officers were called to the 900 block of St. Paul Street.
At the scene, officers found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound behind the apartment buildings.
He was transported to a local hospital.
