RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Police are investigating a shooting in Richmond on Tuesday night after a woman was found shot and taken to a nearby hospital.
According to Richmond Police, officers responded to the 1100 block of St. John Street for reports of a shooting.
They arrived on scene and found a woman, unidentified at this time, with an apparent gunshot wound.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to survive, police said.
