Second woman wanted for pulling gun during dance competition at Huguenot High School

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Police need the public’s help locating a second suspect who they say displayed a gun after a fight broke out during a dance competition at Huguenot High School.

Police were called to the school at around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, for a reported disturbance. They were told a person was brandishing a firearm. 

When officers arrived, they encountered a fight occurring among participants in a dance competition but managed to end the altercation. They arrested one woman, 36-year-old Falan Brown of North Carolina, and charged her with brandishing a firearm on school grounds.

As a precaution, officers conducted a search of the school and found no additional threats.

Police said several people received minor injuries during the altercation and were treated at the scene. One person was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The second suspect who police are now looking for is described as an adult female who was seen wearing a camouflage jacket with fur.
