Suspect sought for Accommodation Street mugging

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect who pushed a man down and stole his wallet on Accommodation Street last month. 

At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Friday, May 11, the suspect approached a man who had just walked out of a convenience store located in the 2100 block of Accommodation Street.

The suspect pushed the victim to the ground and stole his wallet before running away. 

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 30 and 40 years old. He is approximately 5′ 9″ tall and weighs about 160 pounds. 

During the time of the robbery, the suspect had a mustache and a distinctive goatee. 

No injuries were reported.
