Suspect sought in pair of burglaries on Midlothian Turnpike

(WRIC) -- The Chesterfield County Police Department are asking for the public's assistance as they investigate a pair of burglaries that occurred in the 8500 block of Midlothian Turnpike at about 12:55 a.m. on Monday, May 28.

Officers responded to an alarm call and broken front glass door at the Family Dollar at 8501 Midlothian Turnpike. No suspect was found, and nothing was reported stolen from the business.

Responding officers found that the front glass door of Stuffy’s Subs, located at 8517 Midlothian Turnpike, had also been broken. Again, nothing was reported stolen.

Surveillance cameras at both businesses captured images of the same suspect. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 18 to 25 years of age with a slender build, and you can see pictures at crimesolver.net.
