RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Two tractor trailer cabs went up in flames Sunday in Richmond, sending diesel fuel into the road and creating a hazmat situation.

It happened just before 1:00 a.m. on Ellen Road just off the Boulevard.

Richmond fire crews tell 8News that when they got to the scene, the two tractor cabs were engulfed in flames.

Crews managed to put the fire out rather quickly, but hazmat teams had to be called in to clean up diesel fuel that had leaked from the trucks and onto the road.

No one was injured, but the cause of the fire remains a mystery.Stay with 8News for any updates.
