HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries on Saturday after losing control of his motorcycle while traveling on Interstate-95 in Hanover County. Police said the man, identified as William W. Robinson, was wearing his helmet.
Virginia State Police said officers responded to a crash on June 8 at 1:14 p.m. on I-95 South at mile marker 98. Robinson, a Woodbridge resident, was traveling south when he approached slower-moving traffic, locked his rear brakes, lost control and overturned.
Hanover County Fire & EMS told 8News 40-year-old Robinson suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. State Police said no charges have been placed.
