Hurricane concerns impact local high school football schedule

(WRIC) — With the unpredictability of Hurricane Florence’s path and the emphasis on safety ahead of the storm, several of the local high school football games have been rescheduled.

Heavy rain and storms caused some games from last Friday to be postponed until this week.

Due to the schedule changes, this week’s 8Sports Blitz will air on THURSDAY, September 13

On Monday, Henrico High School defeated Deep Run 59-22 in a rescheduled game from Friday. A game between Collegiate and Trinity Episcopal will be played on Tuesday afternoon.
