RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is getting a special exhibit.

Lego has an exhibit there called “Nature Connects” all summer. They will have 27 different sculptures as part of 14 displays. It’s $13 for adults, $11 for seniors and $8 for children ages 3-12.

The creator of the exhibit says it’s not only beautiful, but you may learn something too.

“They each come with an interpretive message that will be able to educate our visitors and will share some lessons on conservation in pollinator relationships and the interconnectedness of nature,” says Laurel Matthew, exhibit coordinator.

The centerpiece is an Eastern Black Swallowtail Butterfly built from 37,000 legos that have a three-and-a-half foot wingspan.Find 8News on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram; send your news tips to iReport8@wric.com.
