PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- On the eve of his 3rd birthday, Kaleb 'Baby Buns' Graves is making a guest appearance at Friday night's homecoming football game between host Petersburg and Dinwiddie.

'Baby Buns,' who turns 3 on Saturday, will throw out the ceremonial game ball ahead of tonight's 7 p.m.

8News will be at tonight's game and have coverage of the pre-game festivities, and highlights of the game, at 11.

The Graves' family's non-profit, BabyBuns For Life, is helping sponsor the game and pregame festivities.

The nickname 'Baby Buns' began with his mother’s viral pregnancy announcement. The video showed Griffin-Graves directing her husband to the oven, where he found buns with an ultrasound image on top. The couple had been trying to get pregnant for roughly 17 years.

Since then, Kaleb has been known as 'Baby Buns,' garnering hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide
