LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities say one person is dead after a fiery crash on I-64 west in Louisa County.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at 10:23 p.m. on Sunday at mile marker 136.

A tractor-trailer was slowing for stopped traffic due to an earlier crash in the left lane that killed a man and injured an infant, according to Virginia State Police. A Toyota Tacoma then rear-ended the tractor-trailer and caught on fire.

The driver of the Tacoma, who has not yet been identified, died from their injuries.

No one else was injured in the crash, which remains under investigation.
