Body of missing woman found in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) - The body of a missing woman was found in Madison County on Saturday.

Madison County Sheriff Erik Weaver says the woman, later identified as Tasha Hardy of Culpeper County, was found around 10:20 a.m.

Hardy went missing after she was swept away by flood waters on Wednesday near Graves Mountain Lodge in Syria, Va.

Search and rescue crews continue to look for another missing person in Albemarle County.

A Toyota Prius with two people inside was also swept away by flood waters in Charlottesville. So far, one body has been recovered.
