CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Three people were arrested after a police pursuit on Interstate 95 in Chesterfield County Thursday night.
According to Chesterfield Police, the pursuit resulted after a call for service around 7 p.m. A victim claimed to be assaulted and gave police information about the suspect.
Officers observed the suspect vehicle in the area of Route 1 and Willis Road. As police attempted a traffic stop, the suspect vehicle fled toward Interstate 95 southbound.
As the suspect traveled up the Woods Edge Road ramp, their vehicle struck a police cruiser.
The suspect’s vehicle crashed and three suspects were taken into custody, according to Chesterfield Police.

There were no injuries reported and various charges are pending as the investigation continues.
