CHESTER, Va. (WRIC) — A Black Hawk helicopter made an emergency landing in Chester on Thursday afternoon after the pilot noticed a caution light turn on mid-flight.
Authorities responded to Chestnut Hill Road, just off Old Church Road and Route 10, after receiving calls about a helicopter crash at around 4:49 p.m, according to State Police.
The National Guard is conducting an investigation at this time, not State Police.
Another helicopter arrived on the scene to assist with the mechanics.
