CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities from Chesterfield County are investigating a death on Friday afternoon after an unresponsive man was found in a rowboat at the Swift Creek Reservoir.
Chesterfield Police’s Lt. Cimbal tweeted about the incident, saying crews are on scene at the Swift Creek Reservoir. The tweet said there’s “nothing suspicious at this time.”

8News learned at the scene that family and friends of the man called authorities at 1:30 p.m to say the man had not returned from rowing on the lake.
