CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities say they have arrested the man who was wanted for stealing credit cards from lockers at two gyms in Chesterfield County earlier this month.

Elijah Michael Loiseau, 24, was apprehended on Monday. Police say he entered two gym facilities — the American Family Fitness on Amfit Way and the Youfit on Midlothian Turnpike — and stole a wallet and credit cards from patrons’ lockers between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on April 4.

Shortly after the thefts, police say he used the victims’ credit cards to make purchases at nearby retail locations.

Police obtained warrants for Loiseau for credit card theft, credit card fraud and larceny in relation to the incidents.
