RICHMOND, Va., (WRIC) — For the thrd year, community members teamed up with local law enforcement for the Richmond Missing Persons Day Rally.
Dozens stopped by Chimborazo ParkSaturday afternoon to learn how to keep loved ones safe.
Toni Jacobs established the rally in 2016 after her daughter Keeshae went missing.
Jacobs want other families to know they aren’t alone.
“It can happen to you and with the fact that there are things that you can do to prevent it,” said rally organizer Toni Jacobs. “And pay more attention to your family..your surroundings..and your community just in case you may see someone who is missing.”
April 29th marks Virgnia Missing Persons Day established by former governor Terry McAuliffe.
