DMV reminding Virginia drivers to be mindful of motorcyclists on the roads

Local News

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — This fall, the Virginia DMV wants drivers to keep motorcycle safety top of mind.

There’s been a 17% jump in motorcyclist deaths on Virginia roads this year.

Experts offer a reminder that motorcycles are smaller, so take an extra moment to check your blind spots while on the road.

Make sure you’re giving motorcycles extra room, and don’t follow too closely.
