ASHLAND, Va. (WRIC) — One person is without a home after their apartment in Ashland caught on fire early Monday morning. 

Hanover Fire PIO Gregory Martin said units responded to the Hanover Apartments on Cottage Green Drive. Crews were able to contain the fire to the apartment where the fire started. 

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
