Patrick Henry High School unveils newly renovated auditorium

ASHLAND, Va. (WRIC)– Patrick Henry High School unveiled it’s newly renovated auditorium during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday. 

Students will have a renovated stage, new seats, fresh carpet and even an acoustic ceiling. 

On what the renovations mean for the school and community, Patrick Henry High School Principal Chris Martinez said students and staff are looking forward to the performances that will come with the updated auditorium.​​​​​​​”We have had a lot of support through this whole process and we are really excited about finally getting a chance to cut that ribbon and see a lot of performance going on by our students,” Principal Martinez said. 

School board and local officials were in attendance for the special ceremony.
