HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — An investigation is underway after a fire in Henrico County damaged a home on Tuesday night. 

At 9:18 p.m. Henrico Fire arrived at the 1900 block of Cool Lane after receiving reports of a home with thick smoke and flames coming from it, according to Henrico Fire’s Public Information Officer, Rob Rowley. 

Neighbors informed crews at the scene that the two adult occupants of the home were seen, hours earlier, around the house.

According to Henrico Fire, firefighters searched for any victims as they battled the fire. Crews did not find any residents in the home during its search. 

The fire was controlled and no injuries were reported.
