Deep Run High School in Henrico County was evacuated Friday afternoon due to a suspicious odor.
A spokesperson for Henrico Fire said the school was being evacuated as crews were arriving at around 1:20 p.m.
Several units investigated the source and found no hazards, but identified the smell was coming from a malfunction within the air conditioning system.
Students and staff have returned to the school.
